Research scholar: Plant pathology research group “CERES UNal” Plant pathology laboratory - Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (2024 - current)

  • Conducted comprehensive literature reviews in the field of plant pathology, sourcing relevant papers to inform our research endeavors.
  • Collaborated with my team, contributing to the collective effort of synthesizing and integrating research findings into our projects.

Undergraduate thesis: “Evaluation of alternatives for management of root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.) on tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) under in vitro and greenhouse conditions” Plant pathology laboratory - Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (2023 - current)

  • Conducted experimental essays and laboratory studies in collaboration with other members of the team using various protocols
  • Collaborated with the research team to review literature, and prepared monthly reports based on key experiment findings.
  • Worked closely with fellow researchers to analyze and visualize over 200 datasets using programming software, interpret results, and derive insightful conclusions.
  • Identified nematodes to the genus level based on morphological characteristics, demonstrating proficiency in taxonomic classification within the field of nematolog

Developing research: “Evaluation of the Effect of Various Wax Coatings on the Post-Harvest Quality of Lulo fruit (Solanum quitoense)” Post-harvest laboratory - Faculty of Agricultural Sciences  (2023 - current)

  • Performed comprehensive laboratory analyses on post-harvest variables in lulo fruits, meticulously ensuring the accuracy and thoroughness of the process to yield insightful findings

Research scholar: Innovation in Land and Engineering for the Society “ICIS” Faculty of Engineering (2021 - 2022)

  • Participated in a project focused on evaluating the incorporation of Good Farming Practices (BPA) regulations in avocado-producing farms in Silvania, Cundinamarca.
  • Collaborated with team members to assess field variables.
